Flexible time blocking planner pad for daily planning

$15.50

This time blocking planner design is like having your own personal assistant to get you on top of those days when you feel like you’re being pulled in a million directions. As you can see in the video, I format some of my time blocks as checklists, some as time-based mini-schedules, depending on what will help me stay on track for that block.

The right hand column starts with a block to write down your focus for the day. Sometimes I write what type of work I’ll be prioritizing, usually either “client work” or “new listings” for me. Other times, I use it to describe the mood of the day, like “back on track” for a Monday after a weekend of family time.

Then you have a block to make sure you can see any time-based appointments for the day at a quick glance.

“What’s for dinner” and “hydrate” are there to make sure you’re fueling yourself for another productive day tomorrow!

Then you have a to-do list section. Sometimes I use this as a brain dump when I’m filling out my time blocks. Other times, it’s a shopping list or a lineup of quick tasks for a time block that’s diverse.

Finally, you get to my favorite part of the layout: the “reschedule” section, so I can be sure to find time later in the week for those tasks I didn’t quite get done because I bit off more than I could chew.

Each pad is composed of 30 sheets of thick, smooth, easy-to-write-on 5.5" by 8.5" paper.

You'll find lots more coordinating pads to help you organize your life and manage your time in the "Planner Notepads" section of my shop:

Do you find yourself frustrated by pads that have a cute design, but flimsy paper that tears easily, or your writing leaves an impression on the next page -- or even bleeds through? This pad is made of extra-thick, super luxurious, phenomenally smooth 32 pound (118 gsm) paper. The paper is designed for optimal printing, which turns out to also mean that it offers an effortless writing experience for your favorite pencil, ball point, roller ball or felt tip. If you're a fan of Paper Mate Flair pens, you'll love the crisp edges your pen strokes hold with this paper. If -- like me -- you find yourself erasing and rewriting as you go, I highly recommend a Pilot Frixion pen in blue ink (the black leaves a bit more of a ghost behind after erasing).
