Do you dread the flood of paper you know is coming when school starts? As much as I love paper, I can only handle so much in my life. I've been a fan of Evernote for a few years, and I've found it to be an invaluable tool to collect information that comes in digitally. I fell in love with it all over again with the release of the Scannable app. This app essentially turns your iPhone or iPad into a document scanner, and integrates seamlessly with Evernote, so I can quickly and easily scan printed schedules, directories, and other important, easy-to-lose-track-of papers that come home. Then I can email copies to anyone who might need them. Lastly -- whew! -- that paper river can flow right into the recycling bin, because we can now access the information from all devices.
