Flexible Time Blocking Planner, A5 Daily Planner Pages
This time blocking planner design is like having your own personal assistant to get you on top of those days when you feel like you’re being pulled in a million directions. As you can see in the video, I format some of my time blocks as checklists, some as time-based mini-schedules, depending on what will help me stay on track for that block.
The right hand column starts with a block to write down your focus for the day. Sometimes I write what type of work I’ll be prioritizing, usually either “client work” or “new listings” for me. Other times, I use it to describe the mood of the day, like “back on track” for a Monday after a weekend of family time.
Then you have a block to make sure you can see any time-based appointments for the day at a quick glance.
“What’s for dinner” and “hydrate” are there to make sure you’re fueling yourself for another productive day tomorrow!
Then you have a to-do list section. Sometimes I use this as a brain dump when I’m filling out my time blocks. Other times, it’s a shopping list or a lineup of quick tasks for a time block that’s diverse.
Finally, you get to my favorite part of the layout: the “reschedule” section, so I can be sure to find time later in the week for those tasks I didn’t quite get done because I bit off more than I could chew.
If you're a paper nerd like me, you'll appreciate the thick, super smooth 100 lb. paper. And if you've never thought about paper, all I can tell you is that whenever my middle schooler turns in homework assignments printed on this paper, her teachers remark on how nice the paper is (let's just hope her work lives up to the paper!). This paper is thick enough to withstand Papermate Flairs, if those are your jam. If you need to work with an erasable, I've become a convert to #teamblueink because I find that the Pilot Frixion blue erases much more cleanly than the black on this paper.
A5 inserts are 5.8" by 8.3" ... they will not fit personal size planners. All inserts are pre-punched with 6 holes to fit Filofax, Kikki K, Simple Stories and other Standard 6-hole binders (sorry, they won't work with Franklin Covey or other 7-ring binders).
If you'd like to see how I use these and other inserts in my shop, check out my instagram feed at @veronicafoleysplanner .
I'm not accepting orders for custom planner inserts at this time, but if you have a suggestion for my next round of designs, I'd love to hear from you here or over on Instagram.
